The Rice Mill

THE BEGINNING

Riseria De Medici was founded in the early 20th century, thanks to the business acumen of Clemente De Medici, who continued his father’s milling company, despite the hardships of the postwar period. Assisted by his sons Dario and Giovanni, he expanded the business into the agriculture sector, which he later abandoned in order to devote himself to milling.

TOWARDS THE PRESENT

In 1976, management of the company passed to Agostino De Medici, who guided it towards foreign markets such as Germany, France and Spain; in 2007 the leadership was taken over by Vittorio De Medici, the current CEO. From the outset, the tireless hard work, sacrifice and dedication of each generation of the family have turned a small mill into an established, structured and innovative business.
